Home Worker Data Entry Clerk

  • Jill March 2010
I replied to an advert for Home Working Data Entry Clerks which sounded really promising and said I could receive up to £20.00 - £25.00 per advert I placed. I paid the £20.00 registration fee to receive the training manuals. When the training manual arrived ti suggested that I place the same advert I'd replied to with over 200 classified ad companies asking other people for £20.00 for the training manual to become a Data Entry Clerk - is this legal?

Without knowing the full details it's hard to say, but it sounds a bit like a Pyramid Scheme to me and they are illegal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_scheme. Personally I would consider it a lesson learnt and report this activity.
