lost job

Hi can anyone help i wqas signed of work with depresson from my gp after a month i was told the best thing was to return to work i work as a bus driver when i tryed to return to work i was advised that due to my depresson i am unable to drive a public transport bus and due to that my job was no longer avalible to me so basically i was sacked ( which has added to my ill helf .any advice appreceated
