I think I would be laughed out of it if I ask him to come for a drink with me... also I'd be afraid I'd hit him with my pint glass! I might try and suggest it and see what happens. Thanks.

You have rights mate and you need to look into it. Everyone has a boss so go hirer then him thats what i did.
it totally worked companies dont stand for bullying and that is exactly wat this is hun. kick his arse to the curb and show him up for the looser he really is good luck x

@sarah Thanks a million for the advice and the confidence boost! Glad to hear I'm not alone. Maybe you're right, if it keeps happening I'm going to say something to the director. I was worried about doing something like that, thought it seemed a bit like going to the headmaster in school to tell on someone, and that he would make my life worse as a result. But fu*k it, I think I will, I really don't care any more... I can't stand him!!!!!

Jack, If you focus what is your purpose in the work place and go above and beyond you bosses exceptions, and not expect to be noticed things will move into a better direction! Do you have passion for what you current job title is, and if not the problem may exist is your own head and your boss is validating what you really want and that's a new direction and career!

find out if there is a complaints procedure at ur work, there probably is, bullying is generally not accepted in the workplace, i'm sure the are disciplinary routes for you to follow, let us know how it went
