My dad met a woman online about 2 years ago, and she moved to the town we live in to be with him. After about a month of them dating, he took me and my brother to meet her daughter and son. At first I didn't think much of her daughter, but over time of knowing her, I started to fall for her. It was gradual. The more and more I spend time with her, the more and more I love her. Then, about 2 months ago, our parents got engaged, and married. Now, I have strong feelings for my step sister. It's not a sex drive, I don't just like her because she lives with me. I really am serious about her, but I don't know what to do. I can't tell if she feels the same way. It's like she gives me all these hints, but nothing ever happens. I give her hints, and she gives them back, but it's like we are both too scared to actually say something. What should I do?

Love is love. It's not like this is your real sister, or half sister, or cousin or something. This is another human being. If you want her, for emotional reasons and you think she feels the same. Have at it. I don't think anyone will care, or think this is wrong. Go for it.

you should be careful as long as you guys live in the same house as a family though.
even if she isnt your biological sister, if you guys have a sister/brother relationship, thats creepy.

Oh my, DO NOT pursue anything with her. There are many many reasons why. First of all, she could easily turn things around and make you look like the perv step-brother. I understand young lust/love, but take it from someone obviously older than you - it doesn't last. The decisions you make in your young life lay the path for your future. In time, I think you'll see that not acting on your current feelings what the best self control you ever demonstrated.
