Accept This Offer

I left my job nine months ago. The work environment I was in had become very toxic. Quickly found an hourly contract through a recruiter and worked that for nine months. The contract just ended. I've now been offered a permanent job at an employer that I had been in touch with while on the contract; but, it's over $30,000 / year less than the salary I was making just 9 months ago. I have not had a salary this low in over 10 years. I can cover 2-3 years of my expenses if not employed. What do you think, should I take this offer?
