forgetting it ever happened...

There's this guy, we can call him jack, that I like. a lot. I've liked him for a really long time, and he used to like me, but he lived in another country so we never dated. he's back now, and he's dating a girl from the country he used to live in. the other day, him, i, and two of our closest friends went to a wedding. my one friend was in the wedding party, so he was drunk when we got to the reception (party bus and whatnot). jack wen to talk to him to ask him why I was acting weird, so our friend told jack I still like him, and told jack to kiss me. sober, jack said okay. we all started drinking, and jack started hitting on me, we danced, and finally, when we got back to my friends house, we hooked up. afterwards, he told me it was awkward and he wanted to forget it ever happened. he told me to get over him because he's not as perfect as I think he is. I should hate him, but I can't. our two friends that went to the wedding to say i need to talk to him about it, and he only thought it was awkward because he has a gf, and that even since he started dating that girl he's liked me, but he denies it. and so on and so forth. if anyone has any other advice for me other than get over him, please let me know :) (by the way, he's very discreet about his feelings, so if he did have feelings for me, he wouldn't tell anyone.)
