American engaged to a Britain

Me and my fiance have been together for a year and a half and on his most recent visit he proposed to me. Im a 20 year old American and he's a 21 year old British citizen. I want to move there and marry him but we're not really sure how to get me over there soon.
Has anyone been through this same situation or could give me advice? I want to be with him as soon as possible.
