Sometimes risking your own dark secrets is worth it. Ask yourself this.. What if that one time she cuts, she hits a major artery or cuts too deep and can't stop the bleeding, and no one is around to save her? Would you rather risk your secrets or her life? Most people who cut are doing so to mask some other pain they are feeling. She really needs someone to talk to.. You could start with her parents, the school counselor, her favorite teacher.. Someone she can trust. She may be angry at first, but she will thank you later. Good luck, you both will be in my prayers.
