I have a bestfriend, her name's Leslie. I met her about 3 years ago. She lives about 30-45 min. away and I haven't seen her in over a year. I told her about 6 months ago that I was in love with her, but she told me that she doesn't feel the same way. She doesn't compare to any of these other girls I live near. She is absolutely unique and I am completely in love with her. If I date any other girl, I can only think about Leslie. I am dying without her. What do I do? :'/

my mom always told me, "you can't get over one person until you find someone equally good or better". things that are meant to be, will be, and for now, you're going to have to stick it out with Leslie, but soon enough, either she will realize she loved you, or you will find someone else. this is the advice my mom always gives me, because I'm in the exact same situation. let me know if you wanna hear more :)
