Girlfriend losing her hair

  • Jack January 31
My gf (26 years old) is starting to lose her hair i think. Its beginning to get thinner and i can see her scalp alot more than i remember. especially in daylight or when she hasnt recently showered. I'm not asking for medical advice really, but rather guidance on how to handle the situation. should i bring it up? if so, how? i feel like this is a very sensitive topic especially for women. (hairloss is more expected in men, blah blah). I feel like if i bring it up it's equivalent to me telling her shes gained weight...kinda. idkijdk

I would wait and see, maybe she is trying to handle the situation herself. your right, she probably wont like the topic brought up. if this continues for a period of time, however, I would kindly ask her about it.

Dont mention it to her unless she brings it up, and just be on guard and know what you want to say in responce to her bringing it up cause if she catches you off guard and you say something like "ha yeah i noticed, its sick!" she's gonna be lookin for a new man! so i would just leave it be because im a girl and i know first hand that things like that are hard enough to have happen much less for the guy you like or love, the one you try to impress the most, to say something mean or hurtful in that situation. Hope i helped :)
